BIOMASS SILO FOR BOILERS
The Biomass Feed Silos designed by Triniton are carefully designed to meet the conservation needs intended to maximize the calorific value resulting from the combustion of this fuel.
Due to the highly unpredictable nature of biomass, in many boilers, this is the most critical point and susceptible to breakdown. If this happens, the boiler could be out of service for hours. With this in mind, Triniton has developed two main feed silo models, both designed for critical fuel and operating conditions. The two models are
the Screw Dosing Silo and the Horizontal Silo. The complete system includes a receiving hopper, conveyor belts, and a fuel tripper inside the silo, which allows for uniform distribution along the entire length.
SCREW DOSING SILO
The Screw Dosing Silo is located in the process before the boiler. It can be used to divide a biomass flow between two or more consumers and also to perform the necessary dosing in the boiler feed.
HORIZONTAL SILO
The horizontal silo is used to store large volumes of biomass and can be constructed entirely of metal or mixed with masonry. It features an internal sweep screw with rotation, forward, and reverse movements, allowing for efficient unloading by first extracting the fuel with the longest storage life.
