The conference featured a robust program, with panels covering topics such as public policy, production efficiency in biorefineries, certification, and investment perspectives — contexts in which Triniton’s solutions align strategically with the emerging needs of the market.
Corn Ethanol Growth Outlook
The event also revealed important insights about the sector. In the opening session, Guilherme Nolasco, president of UNEM, highlighted the rapid growth of corn ethanol in Brazil: from the 2014/15 season to 2024/25, production expanded from 80 million to over 8.25 billion liters, now representing more than 23% of the country’s total ethanol output. The forecast for 2025/26 is 10 billion liters.
Additionally, the sector now has 25 biorefineries in operation, and co-product production, such as DDG/DDGS, reached 4.05 million tons, with projections to increase to 4.84 million tons in the next harvest.
